Community Engagement
Our community partnership approach at OnPath Energy is a leading example in the UK energy sector. We care about what we do and the way that we do it. We go above and beyond to engage with local communities to ensure everyone can have a say in how our renewables projects develop.
Delivering with care
We place community needs at the heart of our projects. We believe that better projects come through listening, collaborating and delivering with care and consideration. It’s crucial to us that communities have their say and help shape the direction of renewable energy projects near them. This helps us deliver long-term environmental, social, and economic benefits to all.
- We treat you with respect and consideration, ensuring your values and needs are incorporated into our proposals from the very start.
- We ensure our community consultations are wide and inclusive, enabling everyone to have their say in a way that works best for them – in person, online or at community events.
- We build a sense of togetherness and ownership for all involved in our projects. We want our communities to feel proud of their local project.

Designing our projects to meet community needs
At OnPath, we want everyone to embrace our vision for green energy. We share clear information about our proposals and speak directly with local communities to understand their values, issues and needs. We do this through in-person events, door-to-door consultations, and through online forums, surveys and our website.
We listen carefully and we work collaboratively to help shape the design of our proposals and tailor the benefits to specific community needs.
