OnPath Energy holding release re Little Gala Wind Farm: 23.05.2025
Renewable energy developer OnPath Energy has acquired the development rights to the proposed Little Gala Wind Farm in South Lanarkshire from developer BayWa r.e. for an undisclosed sum.
The planning appeal which was submitted by BayWa r.e. to the Scottish Government after South Lanarkshire’s refusal last year of its planning application for the Little Gala Wind Farm has now been withdrawn and OnPath Energy is considering their options for the future progression of the site.
A spokesperson for OnPath Energy says: “We’re pleased to have reached this agreement with BayWa r.e. and will ensure local communities and stakeholders are kept fully informed as our ideas for this site evolve.”
