Little Galla Wind Farm<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The proposed Little Galla Wind Farm is located approximately 2.5km south east of Rigside and 4km west of Wiston, South Lanarkshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May 2025 OnPath Energy acquired the development rights to the proposed Little Galla Wind Farm. Please read the statement below for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OnPath Energy holding release re Little Galla Wind Farm<\/strong>: 23.05.2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Renewable energy developer OnPath Energy has acquired the development rights to the proposed Little Galla Wind Farm in South Lanarkshire from developer BayWa\u202fr.e. for an undisclosed sum.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The planning appeal which was submitted by BayWa r.e. to the Scottish Government after South Lanarkshire\u2019s refusal last year of its planning application for the Little Galla Wind Farm has now been withdrawn and OnPath Energy is considering their options for the future progression of the site.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A spokesperson for OnPath Energy says: \u201cWe\u2019re pleased to have reached this agreement with BayWa\u202fr.e. and will ensure local communities and stakeholders are kept fully informed as our ideas for this site evolve.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
