heading-h3 mb-3\">OnPath Energy has been granted planning permission to extend Lethans Wind Farm to add an extra 60 MW of renewable generation capacity and an additional \u00a39 million in community benefits over its lifetime.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-medium wp-block-paragraph\">The plans for the Lethans Extension, which follows extensive community engagement, will result in an additional 10 turbines placed at the site, generating enough renewable electricity to power an additional 80,000 homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OnPath Energy (then Banks Renewables) submitted the planning application under Section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 to the Scottish Government Energy Consents Unit (ECU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Copies of
